Peggy Berg is the founder of The Highland Group
An industry expert for over 20 years, she is noted for evaluating hotel markets and hotel financial performance. She works with numerous developers, as well as REITs and other hotel purchasers.
She is a leader in addressing impact issues between franchisers and franchisees. She is frequently asked to represent clients as an expert witness in litigation.
Peggy Berg is a graduate of MSU, The School of Hospitality Management. She qualified as a CPA in 1982 and an ISHC in 1989.
She speaks at industry conferences, conventions, and other industry events. She has written manuals and articles setting the standard for hotel market studies and has lectured at MSU and GSU.
She publishes on franchising, market studies, impact, CapEx, Extended Stay Lodging, and other topics.
She serves on several corporate advisory boards and association executive boards.
